A book by Kagiso Sithole

There have only ever been two economies.
You were born into the wrong one.

You already know Babylon. Work harder, earn more, and somehow it is never enough. Eden is the one you were built for — where provision flows from God's presence, not from your striving. The Cross reopened the gate. 14 immutable laws govern what happens once you walk through it.

Eden was not just a garden. It was a system.

The Eden Economy was born in the ashes of the author's own financial ruin — a season that drove him back to Scripture to ask one question: what was God's original design for provision?

The answer changes everything. We were originally designed to live in Eden — God's original system, where provision flows effortlessly from His presence and we live as faithful stewards of what belongs to Him.

Instead, humanity chose Babylon — the worldly system where people frantically chase provision and prosperity, driven by fear, self-reliance, hustle and hoarding.

Using the authority of Scripture, this book traces both systems from Genesis to Revelation — and shows that the Cross did more than save your soul. It reopened the gate to Eden.

"You are not waiting for Eden. Eden is waiting for you."

The invitation of this book is simple: abandon the life of Babylon, and reclaim the economy of Eden — restored through the Cross, and governed by laws as reliable as gravity.

Eden or Babylon. There is no third option.

The book's central teaching in one glance — the system you live from determines what your money multiplies.

The Babylonian Economy

The system we inherited
  • Provision chased through fear and striving
  • Self-reliance — "my hands built this"
  • Hustle as identity, rest delayed forever
  • Hoarding — building bigger barns
  • Worth measured by net worth

The Eden Economy

The system God designed
  • Provision flowing from His presence
  • Stewardship — managing what belongs to God
  • Work as worship, rest as trust
  • Generosity — a riverbed, not a reservoir
  • Worth settled before the foundation of the world

The gate between the two is the Cross.

14 immutable laws govern provision.

Like gravity, they operate whether or not you believe in them. The book unpacks each one — with Scripture, story, and practical application for daily life.

LAW 01

Divine Alignment

Position determines provision. Resources flow to assignment, not to need.

LAW 02

Seedtime & Harvest

You reap what you sow, more than you sow, later than you sow.

LAW 03

Generosity

Giving is not charity. It is agriculture — the primary seed of multiplication.

LAW 04

Stewardship

You are a manager, not an owner. Faithfulness with little is the audition for much.

LAW 05

Diligence

Desire is common; diligence is rare — and it is the rare thing that produces.

LAW 06

Rest

The Sabbath is an economic policy. Six days of provision carry the seventh.

LAW 07

Wisdom

Wealth follows wisdom. Ask for wisdom, and riches chase you down.

LAW 08

Faith

Faith is the title deed to things not yet seen — don't drop it in the delay.

LAW 09

Integrity

Character is the container that holds the harvest. Cracks leak provision.

LAW 10

Gratitude

Thanksgiving is the atmosphere where abundance multiplies.

LAW 11

Community

No one prospers alone. Provision flows through people.

LAW 12

Eternal Perspective

Every rand is a chance to transfer wealth to an account that cannot fail.

LAW 13

Divine Contention

The battle for your provision is real — and God Himself fights for you.

LAW 14

Practical Strategy

The silent law: truth that never reaches your bank account hasn't reached you.

"I lost R1.4 million to gambling."

That is the first sentence of this book. The preface — From Ruin to Eden — tells the story the rest of the book was forged in: the collapse, the question it forced, and what was found on the other side of ruin.

AUTHOR KS Kagiso Sithole

Written from the fire, not the classroom.

Kagiso Sithole is an engineer, businessman, and writer.

He did not discover the Eden Economy in a seminar. He found it in the wreckage of his own financial collapse — a season that ended at a poker table and began again in the Book of Genesis. What started as a desperate search for answers became a years-long study of Scripture's teaching on provision, stewardship, and the economics of the Kingdom.

The Eden Economy is the result: not theory constructed in comfort, but truth discovered in crisis — tested, proven, and written for every believer who wants money on Heaven's terms.

He writes and teaches to help believers break free of the Babylonian economy and live as stewards of Eden's. A companion volume, Against Such Things There Is No Law, is in progress.

Bring the teaching to your people.

Kagiso Sithole is available for keynotes, speaking engagements, courses, and workshops — for churches, conferences, and organisations.

Before you ask.

Is this a prosperity-gospel book?

No — and it addresses that head-on. The Eden Economy explicitly rejects transactional formulas ("sow R100, harvest R1,000"). It teaches alignment, stewardship, and God's sovereignty — provision flows from relationship, not manipulation.

Do I need a theology degree to read it?

Not at all. Every concept is explained in plain language. Where a Hebrew or Greek word matters, it is translated and explained in one line. If you can read a newspaper, you can read this book.

Is it only for Christians?

The book is written on the authority of Scripture and speaks primarily to believers — but its laws (sowing and reaping, diligence, generosity, integrity) are observable realities that any reader will recognise.

How is the print edition shipped?
